Where can I interact with Republicans "in the wild"?

Then I’m spending my day at various youth sports.

My (shelter) dogs are driving me nuts because I worked too late this week and the weather was bad, so I am hoping I can take them to the dog park today while it’s sunny.

We will get take out (probably Indian) and watch a documentary on Netflix tonight (this is why the dog park is super critical).

Tomorrow, we’ll go to our Episcopal church, and brunch. My son wants to go thrifting, and then we have symphony tickets.

So come on out to Alexandria, and join the fun!

I have read this 3x. I can’t tell if this is meant to point out OP’s assumption of what Trump supporters look like is offensive or a parody of every liberal who lives in Takoma Park or Delray and is astonishingly basic.

Because you are an idiot. That's why you can't understand what it means.

You may not be in as much of a liberal bubble as you think, people are just too polite to broadcast political differences in these settings.

Sean Spicer's kid was on my son's baseball team for two years. Decent dude who helped out a lot at practice and games.

Oh yeah, the chiefs of staff were good parents and friendly people. I liked them personally and tried to foster our kids' friendships despite being a leftist who thinks their work is incredibly harmful to the country.

The cognitive dissonance of living close in to DC is real. And that's why we don't talk politics on the playground.

Chad Wolfe's son was on my son's soccer team years back. He never attended any prcatices or games I was at, but his wife did. She was quite hot, tbh.

This exists in Takoma Park too

This is true. I know a couple of guys who live in the People's Republic of Takoma Park through a local gun forum, and they're most certainly Republicans and very likely support Trump. I was a at a bar here in DC recently, and the bartender, a second-generation Salvadorian immigrant, was a Trump supporter.

Whatever it is, I love it and would like to be friends with the PP—and I live in OTA!

Just drive to outer Silver Spring, not the downtown part but the large suburban part that's between Wheaton and Howard. I live near Glenmont and have republican neighbors.

Blue collar workplaces, gun ranges, churches.

The most baffling of all

Not baffling at all, at least as far as Catholic Churches go. The church stands for life from conception to natural death, traditional marriage and two genders. That is much closer aligned with the Republican Party platform.

Catholic Church supports immigration, support of the poor, policies that make starting and supporting a family easier, etc.

I agree that religion and politics don’t mix well. Both political parties support issues that a Catholic can support.

Also, 44% of Catholics claim they vote democrat vs 37% Republican and 19% independent.

These threads are so obviously meant to pick fights. Liberals really can't stand it when people don't do as their told and have different opinions. It's maddening to them, so they act out by picking fights.

Also, this is a really ick post for Republicans. We aren't the token people in your life.

So true! Can you imagine if someone had asked, "Where can I interact with black people in the wild?" Or gay people? OP is clueless.

1. We know it’s not good manners to openly scream at someone who believes differently.
And
2. We are afraid of retaliation because Trump Derangement Syndrome is very real and you people are dangerous.

EXACTLY. Spot on.

Wow…thought you were supposed to be tough.

I believe the term for you is….snowflake.

DP. You think getting up in people's faces and shouting at them is somehow good manners? I believe the term for you is... rude.
