He was recommended, everyone signed off on it, it was approved, never processed

Well he never got the award, so that is stolen valor. That is fraud and disrespectful to military vets. You don’t put military awards on a resume because you think you might get them. That is intentional and dishonest and it make me question the truthfulness of the excuse he is telling. Someone who is honest to begin with would not put a military award on their resume until they actually receive it.

How is he amazing?

I just don’t get this Wes Moore thing. Hardly any political experience, caught lying several times, nothing to show for his governorship. Why is he seen as this great thing? There were plenty of other worthy Dems.

I don't get the adulation either. Peter Franchette and Tom Perez, both from Takoma Park, were the other two Dem candidates for governor. Moore won Baltimore City and PG County, and took it from there.

This from the party who has Trump as their standardbearer. The guy who got five deferments due to "bone spurs" even though there's plenty of pictures of him skiing happily through the mountains during those years...talk about double standards.

I actually like Wes Moore. Got the orioles deal done. Pressing hard to reign in spending. He’s a wannabe Obama, but not the worst politician.

Too bad he can’t president now, all because he lied on an application. Everyone in the military knows the process for getting an award. Bronze stars are approved by sec def chrissakes.

Don't be so harsh, he did successfully spend down the surplus and rainy day funds that Hogan left in record time. That's something!

It was a Bronze Star not a Sea Service ribbon. What a fool.

Wtf.

If such a Hall of Fame actually existed (it doesnt- lol), I doubt they would be putting in people with 8 career college catches. LOLOL

Oh please--compared to the Trumps of the world and their felonies, predatory behavior and lack of payments to their emplyoees, Wes Moore is a babe in the woods. Yes, he probably exaggerated things on his resume (although the Bronze Star thing seems like an honest mistake that he should have corrected earlier on but was probably scared to say anything about in case the wolves descended on him.)
