Do you ever have your opposite sex teens share a bedroom on vacation?

Yes, they are siblings. They grew up with each other. They are family. They are friends also. Why is this weird?

Our kids, 1 boy, 2 girls, always shared a room with two queen size beds. They figure out how to deal with it. My son and one daughter have gone on camping trips together and they just make it work.

my 12 and 14 year old kids (girl, boy) have to share a room at times. They change in the bathroom. Its fine. Do they love it? no but that's because they irk each other, not because of being the opposite sex.

I mean the costs make it such 2BR is it! Our kids are DD 13 with DS 15 and I def do everything for same room different beds but splitting a K bed if no other way and they hate it should still work. My thing is how families with 2 kids all sleep in 1 BR. There's just no way we would all be able to do that between the adults snoring and wanting to stay up later. It's just a lot of people in a room it seems to be comfortable.

This time, we changed by having the boy share a bed with DH, and I sleep with the girl in another bed. The reason is not because they are opposite sex, but it was because my boy took over 80% of bed during sleep, and my girl fell off the bed crying aloud in shocking mode in the dark. DH is a big guy, and my boy cannot kick him off the bed. From now on, DH may share a bed with him during travel. When is the good kid age for us to get something else other than standard size hotel room with 2 beds?

Our opposite sex kids shared a bed until older one about age 10/11. DD is 2 yrs younger. They def prefer own rooms but no way we can afford 3BR and it's easier getting a 2BR Airbnb as an option usually. Kids are now 15 and 13. They really do not want to share a K bed and I understand but sharing a room with 2 beds works. I think it's the right thing at this age as well.
