Except when it’s a woman. Which happens. Quite a lot.

Because the solution to this problem is political. And the shooters were very likely ginned up by politicos and charlatans exercising rightwing conspiracy speech.

Or people could not shoot other people.

Nobody has to shoot up a crowd of innocent people. Individuals can choose to follow laws and not harm other people. That’s a great solution: don’t harm other people.

If wishes were horses beggars would ride.

So your position is that people are always going to harm/kill other people? Humans don’t have the capacity to stop themselves from shooting other innocent people?

I don’t shoot innocent people, do you?

I don’t have the slightest desire to shoot anyone.

Sure. What’s your solution for making sure people who DO want to shoot someone don’t get their hands on weapons?

We have many laws to prevent that; people don’t follow those laws.

What’s your solution to stop people who don’t follow our laws?

There are many more laws and actions that could stem the contagion. But then again, the GOP doesn't care about sch things on any level. They want the chaos, no matter the price.

We have laws against rape, murder, theft, kidnapping, child abuse, assault, etc, and those crimes are committed every day. The GOP doesn’t make people break the law.

Imagine that certain companies sold devices that helped you rape more people or kidnap more people. Now imagine that organizations dedicated to maximizing the profits of these companies directed so much money to GOP elected officials that any legislation meant to decrease the number of rapes and kidnappings caused by these devices was completely out of the question, despite the fact that a majority of voters favor such legislation.

If this was what it was, we’d have had constant coverage on cnn and msnbc about it.

Haven’t even released photos of suspects though, so they were definitely not white.

Imagine certain companies sold devices that allowed criminals to get inside them and travel great distances cheaply, allowing them to victimize people in distant locations and then flee afterwards, quickly leaving the area and evading any chance of getting caught. Or devices that could be operated by people under the influence of alcohol or drugs, causing crashes that kill 40,000 people a year.

And NO ONE wants these devices outlawed, because almost everyone has one and uses it regularly…. therefore we just can’t ban them - “because I need mine”

There’s an incident lol this every day, so that works out nicely for you if you never want to talk about gun control.

Hmmm..... this sppears to be one of the shooters - or at least a person who police detained.
Seems like a typical "rightwing conspiracy" consumer.

What in this photograph tells you he's not a right wing conspiracy theorist? I'm curious..

Those devices are quite famously and heavily regulated. Licenses are required. Insurance is required. They have VINs. They also have many, many other uses besides killing people.

So they arrested 2 black guys? Or did they just tackle the only 2 non-white people in the entire crowd because of course it had to be them?

And people actually need them and depend on them and they have purposes other than killing. Whereas guns were designed for the sole purpose of killing and 99.99% of Americans don't actually need them because most of us are no longer subsistence hunters.

Really? We're doing this? Yes, people certainly do use their cars regularly. The ratio of car trips that result in injury/death to car trips that don't is incredibly small. The ratio of gun uses that result in injury/death to gun uses that don't is several orders of magnitude larger. Advances in technology can certainly put us more at risk, but which has helped society more - faster cars or 30-round magazines?

Has Biden?

Trump — He is raging about the upcoming verdict which he is already complaining about, so it’s probably bad for him.

He owes one person $86M and may owe another $300M based on Friday’s decision.

He’s probably concerned about losing everything.

So I don’t think he can think about others much unless a handler posts fake empathy for him.

Trump has dementia.

A point that is lost on so many liberals is that in principle gun control and tough on crime are mutually-reinforcing: fewer guns on the street mean even criminals have less access to them on average, and cracking down on crime means fewer citizens feel they need guns for self-defense.

Gun rights are to deter fascists and prevent control freaks from any ideas.
