Did it ever occur to you that “training” was the reason no one returned fire at them? Because those people carrying knew there was a risk of hitting a bystander? Did that cross your tiny, tiny, hateful, little mind? Nope.

Oh there's plenty of data on it, hon, like Pew and other surveys. They show that only around 55-60% of gun owners receive any kind of training whatsoever, and that's generally only the most cursory kind of training on how to load and fire the gun and some basics on firearms safety. That's it. And a smaller number than that bother to follow up by occasionally going to a range to practice. Only around 30% of gun owners have gone hunting. But when it comes to any kind of actual tactical training on how to respond, the numbers drop down to a single digit percentage. That's pretty much just a segment of LEOs, military and some random wannabes that you're down to at that point. Sadly only a small percentage of gun owners even get any other kinds of essential info or training, such as suicide awareness. https://sph.washington.edu/news-events/news/one-four-americans-receive-formal-firearm-training-fewer-learn-about-suicide |
Oh lookie, it's Little Miss Tactical over here. Wild that you have all of these delusions about how owning a gun and having an afternoon intro course on gun safety somehow confers all of this training and wisdom on how to respond to a chaotic situation. What a clown you are. Nobody here is hateful, we are just exposing you for being the ridiculous fraud the NRA wants you to be. |

Rittenhouse has a point. They are going out of their way to protect the identities of the juveniles accused and arrested in this shooting. No such effort was made when he was accused. Even though he was simply defending himself. |
Kyle Rittenhouse wasn't a juvenile when he was charged; in Wisconsin 17 year olds charged with anything are tried as adults. |
Bet it’s not a woman you’re responding to at all. Probably another ammosexual! A disgusting ammosexual, surrounded by giant guns and piles of of ammo! |
He actually doesn't have a point. Two adult men have been charged with murder in the KC shooting and their names have been released. The two teenagers arrested by police have only been charged with resisting arrest and gun-related crimes. They likely did not fire the weapons but were instead fleeing with the weapons. Both you and Rittenhouse are total dopes. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/20/us/murder-charges-kansas-city-super-bowl-rally.html?searchResultPosition=3 |

Thugs, severally lacking in impulse control, took one life and injured many more. Hopefully they will be convicted and never step foot outside of a prison.
Unfortunately, the justice system will take pity and minimal time will likely be the sentence. Thugs are ruining life for too many. Over 800 cops on scene yet they could not protect everyone from a couple of miscreants. That is why law abiding citizens carry weapons. In today’s world you are your own first and last line of defense. |
|
Shooters charged are Lyndell Mays and Dominic Miller. And, yes, they are thugs despite the fact that the mayor of KC said calling them thugs is a "dog whistle."
https://nypost.com/2024/02/20/us-news/alleged-kansas-city-chiefs-parade-shooter-lyndell-mays-told-cops-he-was-just-being-stupid-court-docs/ Thug: a violent, aggressive person, especially one who is a criminal. Definition fits perfectly. They are responsible for the death of an innocent, law abiding woman and injuries to a couple dozen more. |
That sounds so sexy! |
. Nail on head.... |
| I find it hilarious that this thread unironically started with a conspiracy theorist ("it was magas mad at Swifties") and also bemoaning conspiracy theorists ("magas think Taylor is an agent of the democrats!). Once we knew it was just young thugs, no more discussion of the culprits. Only the guns. |
Yeah, you could practically hear the muttered swears and rage-clenched teeth when their narrative about it being a Trump supporter shooting Swifties fell apart. They wanted sooooooooooooo much for it to be the case. So many hopes and dreams pinned on it, all dashed now. And they certainly can’t discuss the actual shooters - that’s out of the question. There’s no way they’d criticize members of a Protected Class. So that only leaves the inanimate object to discuss. It must be the gun’s fault. Somehow, some way. It’s the gun’s fault. |
Ok genius, then why would anyone carry a gun in a crowd in the first place? |
