Mini empanadas
Nice veggie tray with fresh dips, not from frito lay
Anything with bacon in it
A variety of interesting savory popcorn

I'm the opposite. I'm happy to eat costco appetizers - I want it to be as easy and stress free to have me over as possible.
I want to spend time with you, I don't care if you hand made some fancy crap.

Just go sit in the driveway in a plastic chair and drink your PBR out of the can.

I’ll join PP in the driveway. Uptight people need not apply.

+1. Sounds like a good time!

Perfection.

Also: Rice Krispies treats.

Anything that is NOT a charcuterie board or, worse, a charcuterie TABLE. Ugh, the whole meats, cheese, crackers laid out on brown craft paper is just so stupid.

I know no one will admit this, but the first thing to go at any party I host or take it to is my seven layer dip. It's not fancy and there are no special ingredients, but the people love it.

Everything in this thread is a wonderful suggestion, but I really love to see chips and a Helluva good dip at a gathering...because this is the only time I allow myself to have these foods. I don't buy them ever so as low key lame as it sounds, good chips and a dip at a party are so my jam.

We eat ruffles and French onion dip on Thanksgiving and Christmas only. Weird tradition but we do it

Yep, we have helluva good dip for the Super Bowl and that’s about it. I eat healthy but not that healthy. Don’t know why I limit to once a year, but it’s delicious and also enough.

Whole roast pig
Tres leches cake
Bowl of mixed berries

- pigs in a blanket
- bruschetta and little breads
- coconut shrimp

Spinach dip. Cheese that’s cut up in cubes so I don’t need to wrestle with a pretty charcuterie board that no one eats.

I agree with the other PP. Dont host and serve Costco. Save Costco for school events

Speak for yourself, food snob.

Would also like to join you in the driveway (and I say this as someone who enjoys cooking and fancy food, too, but that's not the point). I'm good with whatever.
