Why do people hate Trump?

But with the open border I am now starting to question the Democrat party. Why on earth are they allowing mass illegal migration through open borders which is a major major security threat to the country. As I am thinking to vote for Republicans, I see so much hate for Trump. When Trump was President, it was same like the earlier 20 years for me except there were no wars. So what is wrong with Trump that is not the case with Democrat nominees? If it is his moral character then there are Democrat Presidents who have also been immoral. So I am ruling that out. Is it because he talks brash? That’s the only thing I can think of. Please explain and keep it simple. Why you hate Trump?

He sold classified information to the Saudis in exchange for 2+ billion dollars to his golf courses and son-in-law.

Anonymous wrote:Similar to you OP, I am a naturalized citizen who immigrated here 40 years ago. I hate Trump (among many other reasons) because before him, I was never made to feel less than or unwelcome in this country. His unmitigated bigotry is unforgivable to me. You can look at his most recent bullying of Nikki Haley over her name and his birther nonsense as an example of how he has normalized a vision of America and patriotism that makes my skin crawl. I honestly cannot understand how any foreigner in America can support him.

Trump not only isn't afraid of hiding his bigotry, it's a selling point for him. Do I think all of his supporters feel the same way as he does? No, I don't. But it makes me deeply, deeply sad that a lot of people choose not care about his disgusting, playground bully-like behavior for the sake of more favorable policies for their tax bracket (or whatever).

OP here. During his first term, the way the media portrayed him I thought I was going to pack my bags and leave. Life went as normal actually, I did well in fact. He not only called Haley names, he also called out DeSantis in his childish way. I am not saying those are right things to do neither is his character but I don’t think he is as evil as he has been portrayed. There are many things wrong with the Democrats. I am against the indoctrination in schools that’s happening now promoted by the liberals. Like I said if Trump puts America First in his policies I don’t mind voting for him. I will be watching what his talking points are. That’s all matters to me not who the media pushes me to vote for

But trump doesn’t put America first, trump puts trump first and second and third.

True, but no one else even cares to utter anything that would help on immigration, foreign economic competition and getting out of wars.

Yeah, getting out of wars is a huge reason to oppose Trump. He is 100% beholden to Putin and the first thing he will do is to have the US stop giving aid to Ukraine, which will allow Russia to take over the entire country. Once it does that, it will go for all of its former satelllite states. Then Trump will take the US out of NATO and WWW III begins. This is a huge huge worry of foreign policy experts, on both the Left and the Right.

He’s a huge embarrassment to our country. The entire world laughed at us when he was president and can’t believe we may be dumb enough to re-elect him.

Not true. The entire world had a lot of respect for US, now we are laughing stock.

He is untrustworthy and unconstrained by the rule of law. Which are (sadly) common traits among politicians, but the extent to which he is willing to take both goes far beyond anything that we have seen at the national level in recent history.

And, as noted above, he stands for nothing but himself. He has switched political parties something like seven times in his life, depending upon which one was most beneficial to him at any given time.

The only world leaders who liked, not respected Trump were dictators of Russia, N.
Korea, and China and they only wanted to use him for their own good. They laughed at him behind his back. Putin, of course, had him over a barrell with the p-p take.

They waited for smart strong Trump to leave before moving on weak mentally challenged Biden.

I dislike Trump because he's a criminal - a tax cheat and a rapist among other things. He lies all the time. He judges people not on their talent or their character, but on whether or not they say nice things about him.

But more than anything else, after he lost an election rather than concede he summoned his angry followers: "Big protest in D.C. on January 6. Be there, will be wild!" Without that tweet the January 6th insurrection would not have happened. Certainly presidents of both parties have had moral failings, but nothing any other president (even Nixon) has done comes close to that.

I stopped reading after your first paragraph. Your comments there were infantilizing which we don’t need any more here.

NP. Infantilizing? We are so proud of you for learning a new wor Now you need to use that big book called a dictionary, which you have been using as a doorstop, and look up the correct meaning of "infantilizing."

OP has been in this country for 30 years and can only write in pidgin English. The First paragraph was simply trying to enlighten her so that she doesn't keep making herself a laughing stock.

The world “respects” a weak United States then moves on attack.

The world doesn’t “respect” a United States thats feared and makes them control themselves.

OP, if this is a legit post, I'm curious to know what country you emigrated from. Can you share with us?

Yes I am from India. Most replies I got are what I already mentioned- his moral values (which both parties are a problem) and the way he speaks.

I am willing to put those two aside and vote for him if he puts America First. Strong immigration laws and promise the country will have a border, that you can come only through the front door, build the economy and no wars.

Biden is no longer a choice for me. And none of the replies about Trump are any worse than what the other side is.

Most likely I am going to vote for Trump this time around unless they take him out by the plethora of court cases of which I think the timing is wrong.

You were always pro-Trump. I am Indian and I know many like you. Vote for whoever you like, why all this drama?

+1000. OP, please vote for Trump. I don't believe for a moment that you voted for the 'Democrat' party, ever.

Putin invaded Ukraine as soon as Trump was out of the office.
