I like ole Val and am cheering for her. |
Maybe she can give some of those weight loss drugs to her son Wolfdownfood-E. |
I think it’s really him. |
“Back when the event first came up, my girlfriend and I hadn’t even met in person yet. We were still in what now seems like a comically quaint phase of pretending we were just friends while talking on the phone five hours a day and feeling like it had been too short, too little.” https://www.hoarsewhisperings.com/p/we-interrupt-this-interrupted-telecast |
She went from posting constantly about her narcissistic ex husband to being in love. It's hard not to be skeptical. |
I agree, but he’s great so I hope they do OK. |
I have to say, I feel ridiculously charmed at the idea that people are making friends and finding love online like this still. It feels so retro, and I really hope these delightful weirdos can make it work. Back in the early 2000s I was on an anonymous message board where a bunch of us decided to have a meet-up. There was one guy there who was so cute and I kept trying to talk to him, but this other guy wouldn't let me alone. Well this other guy and I ended up becoming great friends, hanging out all the time, I introduced him to one of my other great friends - they ended up living together for like 10 years. They're both marred to other people now but it was fun - it was just fun - having your online friends and making them real, back then. Haven't done something like that in a long time. |
You should be skeptical because this guy is annoying. I stopped following him because he would complain about being unemployed and broke all the time. |
He's a total downer. She needs someone more upbeat and fun. |
Oooohhh - what message board? I was on Fametracker and Princess Marie Chantal of Greece. |
Right!! I am rooting for her but he seems like such a miserable person to be around |
I was part of an online group around that time, and two people from that group ended up getting married, had kids, are still together. So, yeah, there are happy endings sometimes. |
I suspect they "fell in love" during the time they were exchanging messages and possibly emails and then later phone calls. That can be heady and exciting and also misleading.
Maybe it will last forever but it could also be infatuation that will fade when reality sets in. |
Glad he got what he was due. |
