I have zero social media, including Facebook. I’m 45.

I feel like most people have transitioned away from Facebook.

A lot of moms are still on Facebook. I thankfully never got into it.

I'm not on it, but don't understand how it is different than IG reels and why it's more addictive. I'm not getting on it for the security risk, though I've been able to see a few video forwards.

A friend is on there professionally and there are GenZ doing mimic/mocking videos of her affect and content. She has 150k+ followers, and doesn't seem to care, but I couldn't handle it.

Ultimately everyone’s gonna be on

I have FB and like the private boards as an information sharing tool. We have a couple neighborhood FB pages that are very helpful. I also have joined recently parent pages of the schools my teen has been accepted to.

Will they? Remember when everyone and every business thought they needed to be on Facebook?

Facebook is useful for groups, but I just don't want to use it.

Who has time for TT or FB or other social media ? We do not even have time for much TV. There are so many good books to read and so little time.

Better if someone in the US provided one. Instead of a Chinese spyware company.

But then you have IG. Also not great for privacy. And US based and has short clips.

Who else would set this up and steal traffic away from TikTok. I’m surprised there haven’t been ready attempts.

TikTok is already the past for teenagers. I guess it could be the future for aging millennials who are trying feel relevant, or just people who say things like “peeps.”

People are still on Tiktok?

I don't understand those who brag about their kids not being on TT. I mean, all the TT content filters down to the other apps. I see the exact same videos from TT posted on Reels on Instagram and compilation videos on YouTube.

My nieces repeated a TT meme sound over Christmas. My DD said "I thought you didn't have TikTok" and my niece confirmed they weren't allowed on it and had seen the video on Instagram.
