Not saying you are reading into things. But you’re reading into things.

This is why the queens strategy for so long, as advised to her, was NOT to showcase affection. If you show it, you always have to.

Over time, this seemed cold. But, celebrities and royals alike can take a cue from her choice. Lack of affection but standing side by side shows stability and endurance.

This comment actually has less to do with this specific image. And more of an overall comment.

I think it's a fine picture.

If I were to nit pick, I'd say Kate's makeup is too heavy handed.

it reads calm and traditional in very troubled times. I dont like black and white pics in general but I think they chose this photographer for a reason and let him handle the staging and everything else.

They look poor and homely. The black and white falls flat, seems like they are trying to copy Meghan and Harry's B&W photo op.
