DP. The kids are at school all day and she does nothing. How is that prioritizing family life…her family literally isn’t there. I’m curious how these excuses are going to play out when she sends all these kids to boarding school as preteens and still does the same thing. Prince Edward’s kids seem very well adjusted so it doesn’t exactly deserve kudos

Because many people of different ethnicities have confirmed they speculate about skin tones in biracial relationships all the time. The simple reality is that before Meghan made a big deal about it, it was never something that was considered "racist." Why should it be racist to consider skin color but not eye color or hair color? One black person doesn't dictate the rules for everyone else. Just as one black person saying POC to pretend she speaks for all non whites does't mean anything either.

This has been discussed many times but I’ll toss it out there again just for funsies. Speculation is not the same thing as concern. Speculation is fine when it comes from a good place. Like PP said, Kate and Meghan never really clicked as sisters in law. That’s fine, but if that’s the case, she shouldn’t have jumped in to discuss the skin tone of her nephew. Just say “congratulations, we’re so excited for you!” and move on. If a coworker you don’t talk to cornered you in the elevator to ask about your baby’s skin tone, you’d probably call HR.

+1 I credit Kate with bringing her background of a close-knit family and William with choosing that. They're both doing a great job with prioritizing their family, an environment that Charles and William didn't grow up with. The Prince and Princess of Wales are really doing a wonderful job striking that balance of public and private life.
