Taylor’s girls night out: leveled up edition

I actually like Taylor’s outfit.

All of that said, I find her a bit strange. It’s like a posse wherever she goes. She frequently dresses like a teenager. Kind of reminds me of Leonardo DiCaprio with some Peter Pan complex.

I know this isn't the fashion forum but, again, Sophie's outfit is *perfect* down to the shoes and bag, she looks so good and I want everything she's wearing.

And Taylor's outfit is *bananas*. From the neck up, she's perfection, from the neck down, I HATE it. Why is that shirt tucked into a skirt that is slung low on her hips? It looks weird. The little belt makes the skirt look cheap. The boots are waaaaay too heavy for the rest of the outfit. The whole thing actually makes her look bottom heavy, which we all know for a fact, she is not. And even if you fix the weird proportions, what is it? A twee little schoolgirls skirt and thigh high boots. It's just immature and cheap-looking. She can do so much better.

I have also disliked most of the outfits she's worn to Chiefs games, except the one where she wasn't wearing Chiefs colors, but I guess that's a specific thing and she's supporting her boyfriend so whatever. But there are not excuses for this outfit.

Can she though? I think this outfit is actually a step up from some (most?) of her weird, unflattering touring outfits. That one legged bodysuit thing is SO bad.

As a non reputation era fan, I still have to ask, you mean TS's one legged bodysuit that Carrie Underwood/NFL copied and promoted endlessly for Sunday Night Football? That one?

I like her outfit too! The boots are a bit heavy though and maybe a knee length would’ve been better but I love it!

I agree. I don't get that as a style that people think looks good. It looks so off balance.

I cannot stand her, and I HATE that she is now in Taylor’s orbit. I am sure she thinks she has hit the jackpot, and it makes me want to barf.
why do you not like her? What has she done to provoke this negative emotion?

NP and I can’t stand her either. She’s a jerk. I don’t know how to describe it but she comes across to be a wanna be, jerk mean girl.

SHe is another child star who never knew a normal life. She has turned out somewhat better than most because her parents were wealthy and also savvy about the music industry since her father worked in it, but they have been creating and promoting her as a brand since she was a teen. She hasn't lived a 'normal' life since she was a pre teen. Her parents and team did a good job, kind of like Kris Jenner at taking mediocre talent and turning her into a superstar. But it does mean her life has been one of having an excessive amount of money and power and having people scurry around meeting your every need. Hard for that not to go to your head.

People only hate on Brittany Mahomes because they think she isn't pretty enough to "deserve" to be married to the biggest superstar in the NFL. It's really something.

+100

I’m happy for the ladies having friend time. They all look beautiful.

+1, if she was classically beautiful or even had that generic blonde influencer look, people would leave her alone.

The minute I read she was a high school and college athlete I totally got her and their relationship. They are both jocks. They are very determined, competitive people who don't halfass things. I think a lot of pro athletes struggle to find partners who aren't just using them for their fame/money but also who get how demanding that job and understand the competitive pressures and what it means to be driven in the way they are. But getting that Brittany is an athlete herself, played professionally, and just a very driven, competitive person, I get it.

Reminds me of Ian Desmond (former National short stop) and his wife Chelsea, who had/have a very similar relationship. Also high school sweethearts, and Chelsea was also a very competitive athlete.

For that matter, it makes sense to me that Taylor and Chelsea would bond because I think part of the appeal between Taylor and Travis is that both understand what is it to work incredibly hard to reach the pinnacle of your field and to still be driven to achieve. I bet Brittany encounters a lot of Chiefs' girlfriends who are models or influencers, in some case probably much younger, and just don't really get it. Brittany gets it. Taylor gets it. It's really no wonder they became friends.

Dp- not only responding about the wrong person, but has the facts about TS wrong too. Not an informed opinion.

To be creatively talented is to be above average intelligence.

No, not in terms of straight IQ, which is what was being discussed.

Yes. In terms of straight IQ. To be a talented writer, actor, musician, director etc - you have an above average IQ.
