+1, if she was classically beautiful or even had that generic blonde influencer look, people would leave her alone.

The minute I read she was a high school and college athlete I totally got her and their relationship. They are both jocks. They are very determined, competitive people who don't halfass things. I think a lot of pro athletes struggle to find partners who aren't just using them for their fame/money but also who get how demanding that job and understand the competitive pressures and what it means to be driven in the way they are. But getting that Brittany is an athlete herself, played professionally, and just a very driven, competitive person, I get it.

Reminds me of Ian Desmond (former National short stop) and his wife Chelsea, who had/have a very similar relationship. Also high school sweethearts, and Chelsea was also a very competitive athlete.

For that matter, it makes sense to me that Taylor and Chelsea would bond because I think part of the appeal between Taylor and Travis is that both understand what is it to work incredibly hard to reach the pinnacle of your field and to still be driven to achieve. I bet Brittany encounters a lot of Chiefs' girlfriends who are models or influencers, in some case probably much younger, and just don't really get it. Brittany gets it. Taylor gets it. It's really no wonder they became friends.[/quote]
