Thanks. Still confused about the brunette behind Taylor and now the other brunette behind Cara. |
I know this isn't the fashion forum but, again, Sophie's outfit is *perfect* down to the shoes and bag, she looks so good and I want everything she's wearing. And Taylor's outfit is *bananas*. From the neck up, she's perfection, from the neck down, I HATE it. Why is that shirt tucked into a skirt that is slung low on her hips? It looks weird. The little belt makes the skirt look cheap. The boots are waaaaay too heavy for the rest of the outfit. The whole thing actually makes her look bottom heavy, which we all know for a fact, she is not. And even if you fix the weird proportions, what is it? A twee little schoolgirls skirt and thigh high boots. It's just immature and cheap-looking. She can do so much better. I have also disliked most of the outfits she's worn to Chiefs games, except the one where she wasn't wearing Chiefs colors, but I guess that's a specific thing and she's supporting her boyfriend so whatever. But there are not excuses for this outfit. |
You might not like her outfit but there are tons of outfits like that at H&M this season. 90s are still back. We all wore fits like that back then. |
The brunette is a friend of Brittany's, Miranda Hogue. Cara is walking ahead. https://www.instagram.com/p/CzSJACKs1o8/ |
I have no issue with the 90s being back -- I love a good 90s jean or slip dress layered over a baby tee, it if suits the wearer and is flattering. I just don't like this outfit. And Taylor is a billionaire -- she doesn't shop at H&M. She paid a lot of money to look cheap and disproportionate here, and the naughty schoolgirl look just does not suit her. I'd actually love to see her in a 90s look that works with her height, personality, and overall vibe. This ain't it. |
| I actually find her lack of fashion sense kind of endearing. Nice to know she isn’t perfect! |
I mean, it's unlikely she does more than pick from a collection of stylist selected clothes or outfits. My sense is that she has pitch perfect stage and red carpet styling but that whoever helps her with her day-to-day isn't great at it. I also wonder if maybe it's just hard for her to dress for "real life" because I think the line between stage Taylor and IRL Taylor has gotten blurry. She used to wear really cute off-duty outfits but I feel like they've gotten more contrived and unnecessary and unnatural in the last year as her star power has hit the stratosphere. Maybe a little crisis of identity, sorry to say. |
There was an article about this in reference to her “dancing” that it is her lack of talent and high level of awkwardness that makes her endearing. It allows her to seem more relatable and vulnerable. It is working well! |
+1 Geez! |
No, not in terms of straight IQ, which is what was being discussed. |
Nothing in my post questioned their intelligence level. I assume everyone is average until otherwise demonstrated. It's a pretty safe bet, since average is, you know, average. |
Can she though? I think this outfit is actually a step up from some (most?) of her weird, unflattering touring outfits. That one legged bodysuit thing is SO bad.

No one except maybe a handful of total Taytay diehards from reddit have ever mistaken her for "perfect".

NP and I can’t stand her either. She’s a jerk. I don’t know how to describe it but she comes across to be a wanna be, jerk mean girl. |
