In one ear, out the other for my ILs. They are generally clueless and disinterested and aren’t entirely sure what their DS does for a living (gov contractor) and would be unable to come up with the name of my longtime employer.
DH has shared successes like getting a promotion/raise but don’t think shared actual numbers. Wouldn’t register with them anyway. |

| Our parents don't know our income, but unfortunately, my mom loves to spend time on Zillow. Our home has appreciated massively since COVID and makes us look rich! Ugh. |

| I stopped telling my parents my salary after my mother's response to one of my promotions was, "Your brother will feel so bad that you are making so much money" (my salary was increased to $70k, this was less than 10 years ago). |
