Might be to late for Taylor to write a classic. Most are written by artists 20s to early 30s then the genius evaporates. Taylor is 33. |
Not even the best “cruel summer” That’s embarrassing https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AEo_hR9n7ys |
Again, that behavior is quite bizarre. There are several journalists who tried to make some drama between Taylor and other popular artists either touring in the same town or having concerts this summer, and every single person responded with positivity about Taylor, emphasizing there’s no competition as there’s enough space for everyone in the industry. |

That thing you do
A song written for a movie about a band with a one hit wonder |
Uh, journalists don’t behave that way. And TS is incredibly collaborative. |
MTV made A-ha. And a lot of other bands, Video made the Eurythmics. And whatever other bands were in heavy rotation on Friday Night Videos… |

File Crowded House as not a one-hit wonder. Huge global following and multiple songs that charted. |

NP. It’s the only TS song I know thanks to the Sing movie!

| Agree ^ |
Agree. I love their albums and have seen them live several times. |
| TS will eventually become Rihanna and Katy Perry. Remember all the hype around those two? They cashed their chips and started families. Each of them has a couple of songs that are "iconic" enough to be played on the radio now and then and the rest of the songs are forgettable. TS will have a couple that stick around for the long haul. The people saying all of her songs will be classics are delusional. |
