Yeah but I don’t know the name of that band and no one has exclaimed to me that they are just so nice and kind as did many people about TS. That lyric IS nice and kind. The writer is dealing and processing his hurt and sad feelings. Taylor’s are NOT. She said she was out for revenge when she wrote the song. She is kinda mean. That was the point of my post. |

Moreover, many of those bands weren’t “one hit wonders.” Simple Minds and A-ha come immediately to mind. Both wildly successful global bands with massive followings and more top-40 hits than the ones cited. |
