That’s too bad. Our Jr coaches are the same kids who swim at All Stars - and our coaches were those kids 1-3 years ago. Basically kids who live at the pool or their club pool year round. Most of the little kids know them from club teams as well. Sure some of them have parents who have done a stint as team rep or an official, but the parents of the most dedicated kids tend to be very involved. |
We had a drama free season because the family who causes all the drama was kicked out of the pool last year. |
No overt drama. There is always drama in one particular age group at this pool. |
Agree winter swim seems much more focused on swimming and the structure (with kids picking their events and clear criteria for meets) just seems less drama inducing. Plus it is less social for parents with more reasonable volunteer requirements), which also cuts down on the drama. My family all decided we didn't like the drama of summer swim so now skip it but still do winter swim. |
They are all graduating |
We had parents mad the coach WASN’T seeding meets to win. |
Damn, that must have been quite the drama. |
How do the logistics of kicking someone out work? Was it a strong hint to not sign up again or was their membership literally revoked? And how do you know? These kinds of things fascinate me. |
It was. The best part is the entire membership was notified why they were kicked out. With supporting documents. Quite entertaining. I’d be embarrassed if I were them but they seem to have no shame. |
Their membership was revoked. |

I was the PP asking for details about how it even would work and I did not see this answer coming! yikes. |
Ok, so what’s the full story then? What did they do? |
Same here. |
Which pool, I’d love to join! |
Is this the woman trying to sue? |
