Is 4 large pizzas double sliced too few? 12 kids and 15 adults

Anonymous
I always get 3 large pizzas for a regular evening get together with a friend and our kids. 2 adults, 5 kids ages 3-12. Usually there are a couple of slices left over.

I cannot imagine just one more pizza to feed 27 people.

Who freezes pizza leftovers?

We always do.

+1 weird comment. Think this isn’t uncommon.

I can’t imagine being cheap enough to freeze pizza. Either eat it while it’s fresh or toss it. What is this, the Great Depression?

That’s because you are dumb and wasteful. Are we bragging about that now?

I assume that PP is the person on here constantly asking if things are low-class or trashy. If you don’t throw an entire pizza away, people might realize you grew up LMC!

From where?

Op here. Thank you all. For more detail, this will be a kids party at a paint and pottery shop, a 90 minute event.

I would proceed with the assumption that most people would like two non-double sliced pieces. Personally, I only eat one, but my son eats 3, so we would even each other out.

So it will be about 20 mins for pizza and 10 mins for cake. You don’t need a lot of excess pizza. 5-6.

What time is the party?

Ok that’s lunch time - if this is a non drop off party, figure 2 slices PP including parents.

Then yes, I think 4 large pizzas, or maybe 5 would be fine. I'm the one who gave the Stanley Cup party with 10 pizzas as an example.

Nobody at a short party like this. Everyone including kids is not inhaling 2 large slices in a few minutes.

6 large pizzas.

Just attended a birthday party. They had double sliced pizzas (16 slices instead of 8). The kids were all served 2. Every single 5 year old took 3 and half took 4 slices. Most parents took 1-2 slices.

IDK, maybe don’t want more pizza for a week or so. Refrigerator dries pizza, freezer doesn’t.

+3 We freeze pizza too.

Have you never needed a quick dinner during a busy weeknight and pulled a few pizza slices from the freezer fir a fast meal?

There's a whole freezer section at the grocery store with frozen pizza options. Why is frozen pizza a weird concept to you?
