Is 4 large pizzas double sliced too few? 12 kids and 15 adults

Who freezes pizza leftovers?

We always do.

+1 weird comment. Think this isn’t uncommon.

I can’t imagine being cheap enough to freeze pizza. Either eat it while it’s fresh or toss it. What is this, the Great Depression?

I can’t imagine being wasteful enough to throw away perfectly good food. Also, yes, food prices have skyrocketed and a lot of people are struggling. So oblivious

You can just eat it when it's fresh out of the fridge if you're that hard up. Loser.

Assume at least one full slice (not half-slice) per kid and 2 full slices per adult. (The women will probably eat one slice, and the men will eat 2-3 slices because they are oblivious to how much they consume.) I suggest you get at least 6-7 pizzas.

Not everyone lives in your rigid sexist world.

Seriously! Woman here and I can eat 3 regular slices of pizza, easily.

Damn you stanky

Yes, Op, give us an update

Op here. We ended up ordering 6 and had three boxes uneaten. It surprised me!

Thank you to everyone who suggested the number to get too!

Thanks for asking such a clown question

Did you actually have 15 adults there expecting lunch, like you originally said?

Yes, we did. I noticed the children went back for thirds and not every adult ate pizza.

We had a work event at a restaurant known for their square pizzas (not in DC) and they way under suggested how much pizza we needed! The pizza was cut into tiny squares and I think it averaged into two little squares each - they brought out a tiny veggie tray and appetizer tray clearly meant for like 5 people (we had 40ish staff) at the end. This was a lunch meeting where everyone expected a full lunch, so not sure why the restaurant suggested so little.

Sounds right to me. In certain groups this is normal. I would never need 8 pizzas for a similar party. I’ve see how it goes and also plan accordingly.
