I was told it would be the end of democracy in Virginia if Youngkin is elected. Not sure if that included elections in 2023. We will see if their prediction comes true, and there is no election for governor in 2025.

As a moderate progressive who used to live in a deep red state, I would vote blue but not ever talk about politics with anyone. It literally wasn't safe, and this was before the wackadoodles were really riled up in 2015+.

Eh, Greenwald has been wrong often enough that it’s worth flagging.

But I think he is spot-on here. I’ve never in my life perceived such a mismatch between the mainstream media and what ordinary Americans think. The gap is tremendously vast at this point.
