You mean the way Democrats insist it's the "end of Democracy" if a Republican is elected? Like that? ![]() DP |
Glenn Greenwald is absolutely right. Not sure what your silly apologist remark is for. |
I was told it would be the end of democracy in Virginia if Youngkin is elected. Not sure if that included elections in 2023. We will see if their prediction comes true, and there is no election for governor in 2025. |
+1 Yep. By now, the sky should certainly have fallen many times over and yet... it's still up there. Also still waiting for the mass exodus to Canada, as so many have promised to do. You know, in the face of the End of Days. |
There are states where anyone helping a woman obtain an abortion can be charged. It isn’t as easy as “oh, just get in your car”
Not to mention the emergencies where driving to another state just isn’t an option. |
You are welcome to express your views. Students should not be forced to have their student fees go to support hate speech. If you want to express views that show hate and intolerance, you are welcome to, but the public writ large will hold you to account for your views. I mean, the GOP is banning books, literally: https://popular.info/p/revealed-these-ten-books-are-considered because they believe they are pornography. That is using the government to bend to your moral values. DiSantis is trying to do the same thing with Disney. You don't see dems using their goverment power to curb speech the way the GOP is. Stop projecting and gaslighting. |
To be fair, Trump tried to end our republic on January 6, 2021. I am old enough to remember it. |
Actually I've never seen liberals here (DC area) physically attack anyone in my neighborhood or kill their pets. But in Georgia, a friend of mine had their pets killed after they were out with their liberal politics. You don't have much to "fear" from your liberal neighbors, so you can sleep easy. |
Oh we let you express your views. We don't stand in your way one bit. We give you plenty of rope, to hang yourselves with. Sorry but free speech isn't a one-way street where only conservatives are allowed to express their views, and for their views to go completely unchallenged and uncontested. See, we have free speech as well, which includes debunking your views, which includes pointing out how your views are sociopathic, hypocritical, racist or whatever else. Here's a novel idea: Try a little introspection. |
Or you can use the internet to find nonprofits which will happily transport you (for free) to wherever you need to go to take care of it. |
If you have a computer, internet service, and the wherewithal to navigate searches for such entities that not only arrange and provide transportation but also negotiate with your employer to give you 4 days off without firing you and then also find free childcare for your toddler for those days you will be gone and finally also find you a clinic that will take you. Yet again showing us how little you know or care about the reality of people’s lives. You seem to believe in magic. |
So you’re talking about homeless people? (I think you’d be hard pressed to find an American with a job and no access to the Internet.) Don’t worry! Shelters and other outreach orgs can help! I actually think you believe in magic. Do you believe in innately gendered soul that can’t be verified in any objective manner? Magic! |
Pp do you believe in AN innately. . . Sorry! |
