Right...you replied less than 10 seconds from the "other" poster. Clearly, you are the same human being, supporting yourself on a message board. Pretty sad. |
What? I was reading the whole thread and happened to catch the comment. Wow! Are you ok? |
DP, but *eyeroll* what a middle school zinger you got there! You really told them! You just admitted supporting a poster who didn’t even correctly comprehend the post they were replying to. The maze of ignorance is typical DCUM. |
Well with a master’s in basket weaving I just can’t compete with you, dear DP. All the best. Well, I’m off to weave some beautiful underwater creations! Hope your eye gets better. |
So? |
Thanks for your input, hall monitor, but nobody voted for you. DP |
Gross…you’re one of those people who spends hours crafting lame insults then spend time patting yourself on the back. I have a doctorate in physics… but thanks. I’m not a teacher but I support teachers. Do better. |
You don’t even know where to properly place the comma in masters degree (hint: there isn’t one) cringe |
Was supposed to be satire if you couldn’t tell. |
DCUM don't need no stinkin' hall monitors! |
Tweet! Illegal use of grammar policing! Put yourself on timeout for a bit. (hint: the PP didn't use a comma in masters degree and the apostrophe they used is perfectly acceptable.) |
So is the math that teachers with that experience and education level should make somewhere around 195k? Thats a senior manager level in the private sector. That is silly. |
| Nobody cares that you have a master’s in bullish/t studies from Towson. |

And it matters that there are 14,000 teachers because scarcity is an issue in compensation. Lebron James makes more than nurses. It doesnt mean he saves more lives- its relative scarcity.
If a mid earner (5-7 years) is to make 190+ as someone said in this thread, that would mean you would have plenty more of the 14k making even more. It would make the current percentage of county spending on MCPS (50%) become substantially more. Basically unheard of levels of salary. |
A lot of teachers seem to have grass is greener syndrome. They can't objectively appreciate how good they have it. |
