Oh my god, no. Not only would that not be an effective motivator in my daughter’s case, it would make her doubt me as a sane advisor. It’s really not cool in her crowd to do anything whatsoever because that’s what boys prefer. Good lord.

Not to mention unless she is homeschooled without internet access she knows what her options are. Her daughter is someone who actually talks to peers and might have a better idea of what is in fashion these days.
