Is that really what was said? It's not very clear. Sounded like "make her miss her flight" the first time that I heard it. Second time sounds like "lose her fight/flight".

I agree. It sounded like "flight." But, then, someone else saying make her pay us each $10. That is pretty much hostage taking. Then, another saying.. don't let her go home.
Who are these people? And, where were university authorities? Reports are that she was in the room for 3 hours.
So, these lunatics are free to threaten and intimidate her with no consequences, but she is forced to remain in a room for her safety for 3 hours? This is crazy.

Man! The guy in that video had the patience of a saint or som every good training.

At a certain point, she needed to call 911 and say she was being kidnapped and physically threatened because university police were useless.

We will continue to vote for democrats, and that’s the only choice we have.
Trans issues are important, but not as important as reproductive rights and healthcare.

Here is Riley Gaines’ own statement. I am sure the PPs minimizing the attack on Gaines will start claiming she is lying or that she deserved to be hit (like all bad women, she is either a liar or deserves abuse in their world).

Speak for yourself. I’m not. I don’t trust the Democrats any more.

The is SF though, where police are already reluctant to deal w crime. What else could they have done that wouldn't have started another political crap storm in SF?

No politicians, that’s for sure.

This is not a trans rights issue. You have the right to be trans - no one is saying you don't. No one is saying you are not a person (contrary to what some people in the crowd were shouting). The only way to be fair is to have biological males compete against each other and vice versa. Sex assigned at birth is the only way this can be fair to women. Why are women being ignored and made to feel inferior yet again? "Women" like Lia Thomas and Rachel Levine are being nominated for "NCAA Athlete of the Year" or "Woman of the Year." So once again, biological women are being beat out by biological men. And then threatened with physical violence or actual violence for speaking out about it. I have teen daughters. I do not feel comfortable with them playing against biological men in sports for safety reasons. Not because I don't respect those individuals as people or want to make their lives harder. I also don't want an intact biological man with a penis changing in the same room as my teenage girls. Am I transphobic for being concerned about this? My priority is my daughters' safety not the feelings of someone who has an unfair advantage.

I really do not get why people willingly go to San Fran.
My brother has a great place in north beach and we have never/will never visit him with kids.

It was bad before Covid but post Covid it really went to hell.

My brother has lived there for 30 years and won’t leave, but he blindly believes it will turn around.

Probably the people defending the protesters are going to be more angry that Riley Gaines called the people who hit her “men” than the fact she was hit.

You think so? I feel like most people are pretty fine with LG, but the T is where they have reservations.

Right — that was my point

Got it, but I'm not necessarily sure the activities of the T are eroding any of the goodwill built up for the L and the G. You think they are?
