The Fascist Part of the US strikes again in Tennessee

We sure has hell don't want idiots and lunatics parading on our streets and in our schools and houses of worship with assault weaponry, either, at least not most of us.

Tyranny of the minority is alive and well in the US of A.

Saying it in bold print doesn't make it true. Grow up.

Republican: When's the next mass shooting? It's been a couple of days. Any news?

What a charmer you are. You carry around those stereotypes in your back pocket to whip out at cocktail parties? Or, are you not old enough to drink?

Can you explain why the black representative were expelled and not the white representative

Sometimes the truth hurts and is not "charming".

Well, fortunately, one was thwarted.....

But what about the rights of the aspiring mass shooter to have the weapon of their choice? 2AForever!

Typical. Pulling the race card.

Truth is her role in the insurrection was not as bad as the others. Probably because she has served for a while and understands consequences.
The other two are new members. Although they knew the rules, they chose to ignore them and incite the crowd.

Truth is, her role in the state house was identical to the roles played by the delegates who were expelled. Thank you for highlighting the overt racism in the US and maybe consider taking a long hard look in the mirror.

I agree the optics look really bad.

Republicans now look like racist people.

Do not let the racism distract you. We all know the answer because 7 of them made it obvious but that is not the important part of this story. It is just chafe. The TN GOP disenfranchised 200,000 Tennesseans because their representatives had the audacity to disagree. The audacity to embarass. The audacity to listen to the people. The TN GOP chose power over democracy, blatantly violated their own constitution and spat on the flag of the United States of America.

Proud we insist on decorum in the state house. That’s Nashville nice and it’s color blind.

Jones has 3x assail arrests, including the time he through an ice tea at the speaker of the (TN) house.

So the young man has a behavior problem. He’s intelligent and hopefully he’ll learn his lesson.

One might say they incited an insurrection since they halted the work of the House.

Hmmm, and yet we have a President who did far worse than this, nothing happened.

Yeah. State House members being held accountable for their disruptive behavior that broke House rules. Actions have consequences.
Perhaps these 3 members should have thought about the ramifications of their actions before they disrupted business and incited the protestors.

Lol

GOP: actions have consequences - expel those blacks and female representatives for interrupting us!

Also GOP: Going after Donald Trump for falsifying business records to cover up his hush payment to a porn star he had sex with to try to affect the presidential election is POLITICAL! He should be able to lie and obstruct with impunity!

I can't even with the idiocy. Once again: POC and women do NOT get a pass for bad behavior. I'm sorry to report that it's not just white men who are fair game in your twisted little mind.

The white lady came w:in one vote of expulsion. So, I am not sure she’s got a lot of privilege.

And she’s never been arrested for assault unlike three time loser Jones

They did neither. They were disruptive and incited the crowd. They were lucky no state troopers were injured.

It was a peaceful protest. It is allowed in our country, even if it makes you uncomfortable. The protestors may have been loud--but they were peaceful. They were not armed, so spare me your concern about the state troopers. The only armed protesters in state houses in recent times have been Republicans.

Also, these expulsions are rare. The last time the TN state legislature expelled lawmakers was in 1980 (soliciting a bribe) and 2016 (allegations of sexual misconduct while in office).
"Since then [the 1800s], the House of Representatives in Tennessee has voted only twice to oust a lawmaker. Both votes were bipartisan: in 1980, after a sitting lawmaker was convicted of soliciting a bribe, and in 2016, after the House majority whip faced allegations of sexual misconduct while in office."

What a complete joke. Had these protesters - interrupting a legislative session, no less - been conservatives, you'd be calling for their heads. Hypocrite, much?
