The lord can't run Child protection services well enough for children already in the system so you better have a better plan.

How many people with children who end up needing the attention of CPS had children, specifically, out of wedlock?

Not the pp but that doesn’t help.

I've been telling my kids since they were young they are not to become parents until at least age 30, so they have time both for their brains to fully develop AND have a few years with those fully formed brains to experience adult life. So they know to get an abortion.

You know that you don't have that kind of control over your adult children's decisions?

Signed, mom at 29

You know that parent’s have influence over their adult children and instill values in their decisions?

Signed, a mom at 35

Well, it sounds more like control, conditioning and enmeshment.

Sounds like you are looney.

Sounds like you never raised your kids to be independent

Having kids out of wedlock doesn’t help, you are correct there.

Hmm. In my recent experience with a young (24) single Mom it has actually been family and her parents ' friends who have provided. Thousands of dollars worth. Sad circumstances, though. The father passed away before the baby was born.

At any rate, people have provided.

Fair enough. It may sound like that to you. Now reevaluate how your comments sound to others.

I would agree with you but then you drag politics into it and your post loses all credence.

Good. You don’t have that kind of say in whether your ADULT child chooses to have the child or not.

+1

I'm astonished by all the people who are all in on making this decision for their adult children. Unless they're asking for advice or not financially independent it's really not the parents' place to decide what happens next.
