Would you be mad if your DC got someone/was pregnant?

| Happened to a friend recently… Got me thinking how other parents would react if their child told them they were pregnant or got someone pregnant. How would you react and what would you do? |

| Yes my initial reaction would be anger (just like for any other dumb big mistake) but also like any other dumb big mistake i'd then calm down and support them through whatever they needed to do |

Anger isn’t the right word. More like concern. I only have boys, so whatever happens would be up to her. I would be supportive no matter what.
I’ve already found condoms and a Plan B literature insert in my 18nyear old’s car so I guess none of it would be a surprise. |

| I would be gravely concerned for their career and would offer to care for their child if they didn't chose to terminate, so they could continue with their studies. Because it's my grandchild, and I love children. |

| I mean at what age? 22+ I wouldn’t blink. 20+ I would offer support and help. 16+ I would certainly have some feelings to process. |

Mad, no. Concerned and worried, yes. I would not insist they do anything no matter what age they were. That's not the kind of relationship I have with my kids.
