Do you really want to be wearing these dated things in a decade though? They're already out of style.

I mean they are just sneakers. I chose 2 simple classic styles and one glittery. Sneakers don’t really go out of style. I’ve had so many sneakers that I’ve had to get rid of over the years because they just look trashed and I still sometimes stress about the currently “in style” white sneakers clean which will need to go soon too. Sneakers don’t go out of style and I don’t have to worry about the condition of these so at some point it is actually an investment

np I get what you are saying and continue to enjoy wearing them but they were at one point a highly trendy and that trend ended. At some point they probably will just be sneakers but they are currently not a neutral shoe choice.

Thank you. I don’t know when they were trendy and maybe I was late, but I definitely still see other moms wearing them all the time every where, way more than I wear mine. I just saw them in the store, felt them, liked them, got other styles and I’m just playing the long game as I do with all my $$$ fashion choices.

Santoni, Officine Creative, Premiata, to name a few, and they have nicer styles and are known for better quality.

If you are wearing Vegas you aren’t really qualified to give style advice. Just because you can’t afford GG does not mean they aren’t in style. Plenty of Europeans and college students would disagree with you.

Me again. Sorry that came out wrong and I know I will be flamed even more for it. Not ALL my fashion choices are $$$. But I knew they were more than the average sneaker and my reasons mentioned above were part of my decision for getting them, I wasn’t having anyone “tell me” they were what I needed as a PP suggested.

I’m just trying to provide a prospective that no one else had mentioned yet but seemed like a no-brainer to me.

The rich and trendy have moved on from GG. If you like them fine but they aren’t a fashionista choice anymore or a trendy one.

Disagree. Vejas were trendy but they are whatever now, they can look good with the right outfit like Nikes or adidas. Golden goose stick out as being a trendy item that is now decidedly out.

Suburban moms who really don’t care are wearing their old pair but imo college kids are not buying these in 2023 (if they ever were en mass, I always thought of them as a mom sneaker)
