| This is horrific. Such a brave man to take that shooter out, when lots of police couldn't do the same thing in Texas, even with weapons. |
That’s funny? |
Oh sorry, are we supposed to feel bad for the mass murderer who’s getting stomped on? |
|
Jesus Christ. I hope he and his family get the therapy they will need to process this. |
I really hope they can get through this. |
Nope. Joking about anything like this is simply bad taste |
Therapy is unfortunately not a panacea. If only. |
This is the threat. If you don't go patronizing drag shows, you have nothing to worry about. If you don't say gay, you have your freedom of speech. If you don't go into a mosque or a synagogue, you don't need to concern yourself with your safety in those places. If you don't board a Democrat Party bus, you're not going to get run off the road. If you don't go to the polling place, you don't have to worry about missing work because you're waiting to vote. If you don't mail in your ballot, you don't have to worry about whether you're committing voter fraud. And so on and so on. |
| Mr Fierro is a total chingona! A hero. With a mass shooter, we don’t need a “good guy with a gun,” we need more people like Fierro. Uvalde cops should be ashamed. |
100% this! And these people have the gall to say they believe in freedom? |
I have confidence they can. They seem like a loving family. I wish I could do more to support people like this. Our society needs them to set an example for the rest of us. |

Thank GOD he wasn’t shot by police when they found him with the shooter’s weapon. |
From the NYT article up thread, hero : “It was supposed to be a chill family night out — the combat veteran and his wife, Jess, joined their daughter, Kassandra, her longtime boyfriend Raymond Green Vance, and two family friends to watch one of his daughter’s friends perform a drag act. It was Mr. Fierro’s first time at a drag show, and he was digging it. He had spent 15 years in the Army, and now relished his role as a civilian and a father, watching one of his daughter’s old high-school friends perform. “These kids want to live that way, want to have a good time, have at it,” he said as he described the night. “I’m happy about it because that is what I fought for, so they can do whatever the hell they want.” |
