I'm from Northern VA. Are you new to DCUM or any college forum?? Seriously, when it comes to overrated, overpriced, gaming, NYU is one the first schools mentioned everywhere by everyone regardless of where you are from. I went to UCLA for two quarters in the 80s, and I looked down on USC at the time, but time has changed a lot since then. You are probably very old and not up to date much. NYU is a good option for many kids due to NYC location, but USC is clearly a step up from NYU in general except for Stern/Finance. |
USC endowment 8B Georgetown 2.5B, and it's falling apart. Wake the F up |
PP for the mic drop |
Except for Parchment data is notoriously self-selecting and unreliable. |
| USC, NYU, and Georgetown are overrated |
+1 |
Compared to what? |
Scripps? |
No one in consulting takes parchment seriously |
Except that endowments are restricted and irrelevant to the decision making process |
Smart people know that this is true of USNewsReport as well. Not taking any sides on the issue of USC -- but I don't think the rankings game in itself is much more than a game at this point. Sure has been profitable though. (Not for students or parents.) |
Better than something out of your ass lol |

Peer reputation scores did not come out of my ass, but from college dean's and presidents they seem to agree that USC is overrated. NYU has Stern and Georgetown has SFS. |
