Agree. |
Wellesley is NO LOWER THAN FOUR, if not one or two. |
Says who? Unless you have insider info. There's no indication of this... https://www.usnews.com/education/blogs/college-rankings-blog/articles/2022-08-22/2022-2023-best-colleges-rankings-coming-sept-12 |
Your mom said that? |
USNWR should remove the service academies from the LAC rankings. They are unique institutions that really aren't like traditional LACs. |
Show me the data. My data shows it was #18 in 2014. Here's the data I have. From this link. https://andyreiter.com/datasets/ Screenshot of sorted data of current top 25:

Williams will be 100% at 1 and Amherst at 2. The gap between the factors in which they excel per US News is too large for other LACs to beat. Expecting Pomona to fall because they had an unnaturally high percent of classes with under 20
students last year. Swat, Wellesley, and Bowdoin in 3-5. |
| U of Az will become a T100 |

| Endowment is, arguably, the single most important factor when ranking colleges & universities. |
| USC has been dropping at USNews for a while now. Not sure why some think it’s going to be headed in the other direction. |
|
Nonsense. Many of the great publics schools in this country don’t have huge endowments. People seem to forget that large state appropriations are equivalent to billions of dollars in private school endowment. |
LOL Place the US News rankings next to a list of schools ranked by endowment. (Univ. of Texas system and Texas A&M endowments cover many universities within each system). |
