Cutting off all communication with NRA sister

I can't believe all the gun nuts on this thread.

OP I barely speak to my gun loving Trump humping sister. It is a relief

It is the majority everywhere except major cities outside the South -- meaning even in major cities in the South a majority own guns and/or support gun rights. You cannot shun that many people. I have lots of friends in Texas and Florida. Almost everyone of them either carries or has a gun in their car.

Because they've been brainwashed over the years.

Just because lots of people have guns, doesn't mean you can't persuade them to give them up. Start by bankrupting all gun lobbies, stifling their PR and media marketing, and spending huge sums on moving public opinion.

OP be careful who you threaten. My sister and parents played games and made all kinds of threats. I haven't seen them in a few years. I don't ever plan to see my sister again.

Right, that’s OP’s goal. What do you think “cutting off all communication” meams?

OP is threatening it for attention here. She probably has no intention of doing it. But, she doesn't sound like someone her sister should have a relationship with regardless.

Her sister is complicit in murder.

It’s a couple of people obsessively posting over and over again.

+1. Paid for by the NRA.

I just did the same with an old high school friend this morning. She started parroting the same crap the idiots are posting here: culture and family. And then telling me how many kids were killed in Chicago by guns and how many car accidents there were yesterday. Same old nonsense. I just said we were done. I could not be friends with her anymore. She was shocked and sobbing.

Enough is enough. I can’t hear the lies anymore.

Enough with the drama. She doesn't need someone like you in her life.

And the Nazi party wasn’t the problem. Just shut up stupid gun-loving/child-hating sheep.

Good for you! And thank you. I really think the only way these nuts will change is to feel personal loss, whether it’s friendships, family, reputation, social invites, etc

+a million. They can't feel anything but what personally affects them. Same with Trump voters, basically, and safe to say the overlap is significant.

Stop blaming republicans. They didn't kill those kids. This was a very troubled young man who didn't get the help he needed from his parents/family, school and community. Lets start there.

Everyplace has troubled young men. Every place does not have republican policies allowing them to buy assault rifles.

If they didn't buy them legally, they just would buy illegal ones or find another option. Guns are not the problem, people are.

Incorrect. I'm from a country in Europe without guns and no mass murders. We do have plenty of troubled youth too.

You can’t come up with anything better than that? Sad.

Totally agree. If you vote again and again and again for people who block common sense gun regulation, this is on you.
