You know why, because other countries deal with their troubled young men. We're too busy, selfish, and policitcally correct to do the right thing when we see mentally ill young men. |
Let's be clear-- People are not the problem. Other developed countries don't have this issue. Americans are the problem. Something is very wrong with us. |
no, let's start preventing young people from buying war weapons. yes, i blame republicans and the NRA and all the idiots who vote and support this s$it. i see nothing in the constitution that says that people have the right to access any type of weapon whatsoever. plenty of countries have a culture of guns but none get nowhere near the s$it of killings we have here. all countries in the world have crazy people, but only in the US crazies can buy an arsenal worth of the battle of falluja and unload it on a classrrom of little kids. even the police who arrived had to wait for the swat team, more than one hour, because they could not match the firepower. but i know nothing is going to change, Americans are too dumb. they will rush to buy even more weapons "to defend my family from the criminals", because apparently 120 weapons evert 100 americans (including infants and 90 yr olds in nursing homes and people in prisons) is not enough. |
| WTF? Not all NRA members are right-leaning. I’m not pro-NRA. I don’t like proliferation of guns, particularly assault weapons, but to equate NRA solely with the RW or GOP IS naive. |
Same. |
no, dealing with mentially ill people is a problem eveyrwhere, go to Europe and you will see mentally ill people in the street in any country. the difference is that in this country this guy went to a store and bought an AR15 and hundreds of ammunitions. if he was in Italy, Germany, Japan, he would not have been able to do it. in most countries you need to obtain a permit before you can buy a weapon and rifles of the type this guy used cannot be owned by civilias, just by police and the army. even gun enthusiasts in civiized countries think Americans are nuts. the type of weapon makes the difference. a lot of these massacres were done literally in 3-4 minutes. the reality is that we re all in dangers, we go to the store, to the movie, to work, in the metro, kids to school and so on and if a crazy decides that day to go up in flame bringing others with him we are done. there is a massacre a week now and not stopping. glad i am from somewhere else and trying to move my family there and leave this idiotic place. my niece and nephew in my home country have never seen a metal detector and never hear of a shooter drill in school. my older parents dont sleep with loaded rifles next to their bed. it may be hard for many if you to understand but how some people live here is nuts |
Every single person who voted for anti-gun control candidates shared responsibility for the deaths of these children. This is your fault. |
|
If a person wants to do this kind of thing, they will find a way. We need more security at schools.
OP be careful who you threaten. My sister and parents played games and made all kinds of threats. I haven't seen them in a few years. I don't ever plan to see my sister again. |
| She is the nra? |
Please cite to all of the non-gun related mass murder at schools in other countries this week. |
Right, that’s OP’s goal. What do you think “cutting off all communication” meams? |
|
Dude --- people on the anti gun side seem to think it is a few people who own guns or believe in gun rights. That is wrong. It is the majority everywhere except major cities outside the South -- meaning even in major cities in the South a majority own guns and/or support gun rights. You cannot shun that many people. I have lots of friends in Texas and Florida. Almost everyone of them either carries or has a gun in their car.
|
This. Shock -- Democrats in the South and rural areas in the rest of the countryu own guns and also belong to the NRA. |
OP is threatening it for attention here. She probably has no intention of doing it. But, she doesn't sound like someone her sister should have a relationship with regardless. |
A substantial majority of Americans support gun control. The whackos who think anyone should be allowed to own an AR-15 are very much in the minority. |
