But pandemics before air travel were self limited. |

So. I guess you plan to maintain our extreme income inequality? Because that is what leads to the conditions you describe. |
But that is only because of what we choose to invest in. Can you not see that? Schools in the south do not fund education. It is a vicious cycle but entirely reversible. |
IT wars are not "same old same old." And the current crazy interpretation of our gun laws is a fairly recent phenomenon. Things have gotten worse because we don't think of ourselves as a community. We think as long as OUR kid goes to a good school or grows up in a safe neighborhood, it's all good. So short-sighted! |
| I think immigrant tensions will rise greatly. |
But so far because of unfair representation (in the Senate), there is no ability to invest in education, infrastructure, and healthcare. |
You can see one if you go to the Arts & Industry Museum, down at the Smithsonian (they are in development now). |

I say let’s put in a mover and leaver tax well off people and a one time payment for deadbeats to leave the country.
Perhaps let’s work with AARP on free cruises and load them up old people milking SS and Medicare and drop them off to some third work country. Prisoners maybe drop off to fight the Ukraine war. So much we can do |
Not unfair -- it is our system. You can change the Constitution if you like and if you can convince enough people. |
Like that has not happened before. |
You know that old people paid into Medicare and SS right? You are probably the same idiot who said, "Who cares about COVID, it is only killing old people." Remind me to never have a grandchild like you. |
Actually there is, since this is OUR society. People who say it is all going to hell, so I will just hole up in my gated community and private school are the scariest. That is exactly how it does all go to hell. |
Hah. I almost mentioned Rising Sun as well. Maybe this is true in every country, but the U.S. really seems to need a "villain-of-the-day." When my kids were in elementary school, I remember some news source "Time for Kids?" plus maybe their teacher had them all anxious about ISIS. Those were bad dudes, to be sure, but nothing like a threat to the way of life for some suburban U.S. elementary kids. Some country or organization is always going to be used to fill that news hole. Sometimes they are legitimate threats, and sometimes they aren't. |
Drivers in my area really struggle with two dimensions. Not sure I really trust them to make good choices with a third. |
