Water treatment plants in America are so fascinating. |
MiL sounds great and I would hire her as a nanny or cook. Pls find her an Eastern European community here and some esol classes. I hope she thrives. Btw, my English speaking British relatives UNPLUG all appliances with digital clocks or lights to “save energy bills.” Pita when they houseguest and they’ve been told to stop many times. Seem too stubborn and self righteous to stop. |

Don't forget the washing of Ziploc bags and we're using it until it dies.
I can't stand cheap people. |
IME with South Asian families, people who grew up with household workers treat them kindly and fairly, people who didn't grow up with them are the ones that are unkind and don't know how to treat them. |
I can't stand ignorant privileged losers who don't understand that there are people out there that grew up with nothing and had to re-use the items they had because they didn't have the money to buy a new disposable item every day. It was earth day this week, PP, didn't anyone teach out the concepts of re-use, reduce, recycle? You sound like a bad person. |
I can’t stand throwing away ziplocks/plastic that can easily be reused. Think of the earth. |

Your different choices are killing the earth. People like you shouldn’t breed. |

| Your poor nanny. MIL sounds like a nut. |
This isn't being cheap for me. It's about decreasing my adding of plastic to the Earth. |
