Woman here. I had a sugar baby type deal with one guy while in college. I have several friends who were cam girls to pay for school. I don’t see an issue with it. I felt I might as well use my looks for something that was beneficial than dating guys my age for nothing. I came out of school with no college debt. I would do it again if I had to.

Is everyone (you and your friends) married now?

All of us are with the exception of one is in a relationship.

Do all of the SO know?

OP here. She admitted it when I asked her why she was buying a bunch of lingerie and toys that she didn’t use with me.

Wait, she’s still doing it? Okay, that’s a flat out no from me. I would not be okay with my partner acting out sexually for other people’s gratification. Very few people would. It goes against everything our “lizard brains” tell us. Just no.

She enjoys sexual attention from strangers. He has to decide if he’s cool with that. Maybe for some guys it’s a turn on.

Personally the seeking of attention from strangers over the internet — sexual or not — suggests there is a deeper underlying issue in her self esteem. Does she not have any healthy outlets for feeling confident about herself? Over time that kind of insecurity can turn into other issues.

For many it is about the easy money. What happens in 10 years when she loses her looks? How does she make the easy money? These kind of women
are always looking for the next man to pay the bills. Kin K and Cardi B created this level of nastiness in our society.

No. Are you all the way brand new? Women have been f***ing and sucking and doing other sexual stuff for money/favors since time eternal. Have you ever been to Amsterdam? Heard of Hustler or Penthouse magazines? Brothels? Peepshows? Glory holes?

She’s selling her body for guys on the Internet. You don’t have to be a conservative jerk to not want someone who clearly thinks getting naked for strange men is okay. I’m a woman and I wouldn’t want that for my sons or what that as role model for young girls. She clearly has no self-respect and money is important than her self value. I guess having basic self-respect and morals is considered “ conservative”. That’s really sad that we society sees nothing wrong with it.

She should have been up front with you from the beginning OP. The fact that she hid it from you is a major red flag. If you are going to do Only Fans or be a cam girl you need to let your prospective partners know very early in the relationship (before you have the conversation about being exclusive).

You should tender your breakup to her. Not because she did something wrong. But because you don't seem capable of handling it.

if you think it's "clear" she has no self-respect and values money more than herself (whatever that means), you must live a cocooned, privileged, morally unimaginative life. actors sell their bodies and their emotions, and they sometiems get paid a lot of money for that. do they lack self-respect? she might enjoy it, just as an actor or singer or circus performer. she might find it's a good way to make some money on the side. she might not have money or the credentials that are often needed to do that. who knows. again, OP should try being curious with her to learn more about why she does it, how she feels about it, what her plans are, and so on, before deciding it "sickens him".

I think there are easier ways to make money. Ways that don’t involve the social risk/costs of sex work. It’s definitely also about wanting to perform, be desired — basically getting that attention. Need for attention that doesn’t have a more constructive outlet is an issue.

Does she have a day job? Is she doing this because she needs the money or just for fun?
There are some privileged women with OF who do it for pin money and brag about all the tacky shit they buy, and actually make fun of desperate women who have to do real sex work in dangerous situations for very little pay. I knew one such woman and her values DID suck. Not because she took money for sexy pictures, but because she called herself a "model" and actually laughed at women who weren't just doing it for fun. I see OF girls as closer to influencers than sex workers. I support and empathize with sex workers. Spoiled OF girls, not so much.

You knew she was a cam girl before, why is the OF a big deal now?

The judging on this thread is ridiculous. But, OP, I don’t see the need to ask a bunch of internet strangers how you should feel about someone you’re in a relationship with. You’re a grown man, make your own decisions.

This is online only, she’s just doing a job. We all go to work and sell our time, talent, effort. I’m thinking there are a lot of ugly posters who get worked up knowing some women can use their appearance to make money. She may be as smart or compassionate as anyone else on here. Get over yourselves.

I agree that the judgment is wrong, but then there you go with the "you're all just ugly and jealous" trope. You do realize that there are more beautiful women who don't do this kind of work than do, right?

You can try to excuse it away or or rationalize things that all you want but she is selling her body for money. She is playing with herself online for men in exchange for money. Many women don’t have money and don’t resort to taking their clothes of for money. Anyone willing to get naked for money shows they have no self-respect or morals. This is not the the type of woman you want to marry or a role for your daughter.

PP is likely someone that sells her body like OPs gf and wants to rationalize and make this situation normal to make herself feel better about being a cam girl or on OF.

She's hooking only good for a good time but nova men have low standards so whatev.

Can Girl = Cam Girl??

I think your girlfriend is minimizing the effect that this can have on your relationship.
If she thinks it is no big deal then I think that she is too young (or immature) to be in a committed relationship.

You will be better off letting her go.
