| Apparently his kid had an allergic reaction to the smoothie prompting a 911 call. If this guy was so concerned about his son’s health why did he buy the drink at a store that uses peanuts? |
Supposedly he asked for the smoothie without peanut butter he didn’t say there’s an allergy so there can’t be peanuts on the machine or anything of that nature, so big difference sounds like it was his fault. |
I'm doubling over in laugher (shame) for that remark. I'm quite a bit older than those girls, but had similar stuff happen to me back before anyone could record it. So basically the jerks got away with it. Now at least he got what's coming to him! |
That's not the point, of course we're not aspiring to be RUssia or China. Those girls weren't exactly cowering in fear--did you watch the video? They were just fine. Yes, throwing the drink at the girl was assault, but not exactly in the same category as jumping over the counter and punching her. |
Haven't spent much time in Russia have you? |
They responded. And fired him. Official statement that they do no tolerate that kind of behaviour. Bye bye $2m/yr job. Bet his wife is beyond pissed too. |
But you're probably smart enough to tell the people wherever you are ordering that, not just say "no peanut butter". Even teen girls that work in shops are much more diligent when you tell them about allergies. Or you likely just don't order him smoothies at shops that routinely prepare them with contaminated equipment to begin with. |
I didn’t say we should aspire to be like them. I said they were laughing at us because people like you think that they were “traumatized” by that. They’re laughing at how weak and fragile Americans like you are. You are the reason they’re becoming emboldened about their chances in a future conflict. Because you make it appear that we’re a whole country full of delicate flowers. As though all they’d have to do is shout at an American and they’d go running for a safe space to make a therapy appointment. |
Paranoid much? |
Well, the good thing is if you watch the actual video, those girls did not curl up under the counter and start crying. They stood their ground, told him to leave, and called the police. They were clearly not traumatized and are not precious little hothouse orchids. Good for them. Now let's hope they sue him. |
|
I feel bad for him because he’s just an asshole all the time, bubbling beneath the surface. A terrible thing happened to his kid and instead of focusing on that his brain was like, “yes! I’m finally ‘justified’ to vent my true self onto somebody.” So that’s what he did and he thought it would be “okay” because his kid was hurt. This was just a glimpse behind the curtain to what he’s like inside all the time.
I hope he apologizes and I think that should be okay, if he serves whatever the punishment is for the assault and apologizes then maybe he can get a job as an anger management counselor or something. |
Oh I mean I’m proud of them for being tough but I was watching her face off with him like Noooooo, girl! They need to have a locked room they can retreat to, go in there, and call the police. You never know when someone has a weapon and things can escalate quickly. It’s not worth it. |
Wtf? Not relevant to point being made that he or she did not support claim that wealth mangers are dumbest variety of finance professionals. The snobbery against a professional who attended a small private college, earns a good income, supports his or her family and works hard does not support the blanket statement against wealth management professi9nals. Try and argue on the merits instead of whipping up frenzy about a red herring. |
