| You could not pay me to wear those clown clothes. |
|
I live in a Florida rich beach town, and the only people wearing Lilly Pullitzer are 50+ women from New Jersey and DC who are here for one week vacation.
To the woman who said the above, and where is that you live in Del Ray? I own a home in 33480 that would be Palm Beach. Look around, oh yes you are not in that zip Spell check your typos too. I have had homes there for 40 years I think I know |
| The women who do not wear or snark on Lilly are the ones who would not fit into the styles or dresses. |
| The snarks should take a drive over to the Breakers, if they will let you through the gate... Lots of Lilly |
The Breakers is a vacation resort. All these people citing LP-wearing persons at resorts or other places filled with tourists are missing the point. "I'm a retiree and spend 3 months a year at my home in PB in an ultra wealthy community filled with a bunch of other retiree 65+ women who spend the rest of the year in NJ or the midwest, and for the 3 months i'm hanging with this old lady crew, they all wear LP!!! It must be cool and not just for tourists!!!" |
| I have a few Lilly dresses bought probably from 2000-2004. They still fit, and are definitely more nicely made than what they probably make today. Agree they are a bit shorter than what I prefer now. I wear them now and again. I may give them to my daughter in a few years, if she will ever stop wearing hoodies and joggers. And t-shirts so long you can't tell if she's wearing shorts or not. |
| A lot of Zimmermann is appropriate for 40+ women. |
I'd rather take a drive straight into a tree. |
| I used to wear it when I was in my 20s and 30s (that was over 20 years ago) and I still love the colors and patterns but would feel childish in it now. |
It’s OK. Not everyone has a Jackie Kennedy body type. |
| It’s hideous. Women who wear LP do not have style or originality. You look like an idiot sorry! |
She had an eating disorder, moron |
| Not my style, but you should buy and wear what you like! |
| You can often find LP at Marshall’s in Tysons. |
| I love the bright colors but the prices are not justified by the quality. J Mclaughin had better quality. |
