| Planning the Mexico trip soon, wondering if anyone still buying Lilly. There is a sale going… |
| Sometimes! |
What dress did you buy last?
|
| Yes I do. Lilly is very popular in Palm Beach. Even the hostesses in many restaurants wear Lilly. |
| I don’t personally. I think they are rather cheap looking now |
| I like some of the blouses and wraps |
| I live in a Florida rich beach town, and the only people wearing Lilly Pullitzer are 50+ women from New Jersey and DC who are here for one week vacation. |
Really? What do locals wear? I think the prints are very beachy and fun and nowdays it’s hard to find anything cute under $100, so the sale is great… |
|
Only when I want to look like Grandma's couch.
|
| I still buy an wear, but it stays at our beach house. Don’t really wear it here. |
| I have two dresses I bought about 10 years ago. One of them feels right only at the beach in the south - a long tank dress. The other one is long sleeved and short, dark blue and pink, and I think it works OK in DC in casual settings. I round up to 50 years old. The dresses have held up well, but I only wear them a couple times per year. |
| My second grader loves their dresses. I think that age plus the 65+ crowd are their demographic now. |
| I live in Florida and yes, I buy Lilly. I did not when we lived in DC however. |
| I don't buy it anymore because I hate the dayglo colors they are using now (plus they are way too short for me) but have quite a few dresses from previous years. I leave them all at my beach house and wear them occasionally - they are still pretty common there, although mostly among the college age/under 30's women. |
| SUre, I buy a few pieces every now and then. I like the colors but not all the prints. |
