Not the pp poster. But so what of white woman smell like wet dogs. There are things about cultures that are true. I’m Spanish but not Cuban and they smell like greasy food. It’s fact. It’s not polite to say but people think it.

I think the key is to 'under' do it.

- Nails are not like painted, bejeweled swords
- No false eyelashes
- Natural looking makeup
- No high stripper heels
- No super revealing clothes
- No super tight clothes
- No tattoos
- High quality handbag that doesn't look tacky

This is not rocket surgery. Don't try too hard.

While I wish there were more, find some style icons you can relate to, fictional or real, who you can use for inspiration until you find your own style voice. The character Peach Salinger from You came to mind (turns out the actress who plays her is mixed Scottish Filipino descent - I thought she was Pakistani!) or Padma Lakshmi (who I LOVE but may be slightly edgy)
