Be genuine. Be yourself.

I’m so sick of these gold-digger threads by dumb women.

Usually this is true unless you are an immigrant

OP here, I am an immigrant and Pakistani.

DP. The US isn't as class-based as you seem to think it is and there are generally no accurate markers that identify people as one versus the other (short of looking unkept and unclean). Plenty of UMC people don't look it, and plenty of MC people try to look like they have more money than they actually do. It can be difficult to tell who truly is UMC or MC.

I am curious as to why you think people are "mistaking" you as belonging to a different social class. Unfortunately, how others treat you may have less to do with how much money they think you have than it does with the fact that you aren't white. Without more context, it's hard to say what may be happening.

But generally, you just need to look put together and have good personal hygiene. I'm sure you already do both of those things.

Look up Emily Oberg on Instagram and copy her.

She has the best urban/sporty/umc look going for non-basic white types.

If you copy nova basic white women, you will just look odd.

You’ve posted before. What did work based on what advice you got last time?

It's not even that. There's no one way to attract an "upper middle class type" man.

Men like pretty girls. They don't notice clothes or brands.

Make sure eyebrows are tamed and do NOT micro blade. Try to minimize body hair if that is an issue, unless looking for another Southeast Asian, which I would if I were from there. Some Indian men are so hot but I am not sufficiently sanskari for them lol.

It's more about being interesting yourself. I'm a lawyer and not one of my colleagues has a "trophy" wife. They met in school or things like marathon clubs.

Like a WASP.

Are you college educated OP? I feel like nowadays most men want educated, working women, at least before she has kids.

Minimal make up.
Minimal jewelry embellishment.
Sleek, well-tailored clothes.
Sleek hair style.
Less is better.

Add to this:
Smart.
Kind.
Confident.
Gracious.
Interesting.
Not TRYING to be an appendage to a guy, but have your own goals.

I'm a black UMC woman in finance. Outside of work, I wear jeans and AirMax sneakers. I dislike dressing up. I do keep my hair done and I don't wear make up. Sometimes, I wear tops from Target and I drive a basic Japanese car. However, I am articulate and the fact that I travel often likely gives my SES away. I'd say, it is more about how you carry yourself in terms of personality and not necessarily what you are wearing.

Good haircut/simple style. Groomed nails but no acrylics.
Simple, tasteful jewelry (small earrings, maybe one necklace or bracelet only)
Clothes that fit. No logos, loud colors, or over the top fashiony shit.
Spend money on expensive shoes and handbag (and optional watch, but if you wear a watch, remove one other piece of jewelry) but again, simple, no logos, classic/timeless.

You want to send the message that you have money but don’t want people to know, haha. Clear as mud?

You cannot look like a WASP if youre Pakistani. It would be literally impossible.

Better to give OP some real, actionable advice. Make sure you look clean, spray some perfume on, make sure you're not cooking with heavily smelly middle eastern flavors like curry as that can stick to you, wear flattering clothes that show off your figure, master a pretty, flattering makeup routine.
