Me too but my kid is now in high school. |
| I think I discovered DCUM in 2008. Was looking for help and advice regarding my DS who was 5 at the time and had some possible (not yet diagnosed) mild special needs. I got a lot of great advice regarding doctors and therapists. |

Joined when it was a list serve and I had a newborn (he’s 20 now)
|
| Looking for a house and found the real estate section. I branched out from there. Forever amused to learn what is tacky, what people’s HHI is, what’s going on with true crime, etc. |
Same here. |
You went to school for that?! |
| I used to work at a kids gym in the DC metro area. I probably have met some of you in real life, though this was almost a decade ago now! I moved away but still read here frequently. Childfree by choice. Love the travel, family relationships, advice topics |

It’s hilarious how mean people have been to us on here at one time or another > yet we cannot quit DCUM.
Lol. I came on here in 2012 looking for nanny advice. Still do. |
| Visiting DC in 2018 and somehow came across DCUM while searching for Vietnamese restaurants in Arlington. |
| Back in 2012, I was pregnant at a new company and a coworker, also pregnant, told me about DCUM. I've been hooked ever since. We both had girls on the same month and would laugh at some of the stuff posted on here. Sadly, that coworker passed away a year ago. |
| Came for the manny forum ~ 2006. Left for a long time but then came back when I needed information about private HS. |
She had her baby in 2012/2013, and the mom already passed away? That is so incredibly sad. Poor kid. 😕 |
| I was searching for fertility related info local to the dc area before I had my first. 11 years later, I’ve moved out of the area but still check back in about once a week. |
| The Eric Toth thread brought me here. |
Initially I thought this said how do you get turned on in DCUM?
