Wint and that Charleston kid should be put in a cell together. |
I am sure there is more DNA that is not being released..Is it normal for police to release the DNA findings?? Before a Trial?? Only other case I can think of that had a documentary before a trial was Scott Peterson who killed his wife and unborn son Lacey Lifetime made a movie before the case went to trial. No information on the cell phones found in the truck and auto that Wint was driving in?? I read on a news site that his cousin and brother were inside the box truck..anyone else read this? Police know there were more then just Wint but slow to arrest in this case |
I think the DNA on pizza crust evidence was released because law enforcement put out an APB for Wint's arrest. They needed to present something that strongly indicated his involvement. They wanted the public to take seriously the need to locate and arrest him. That is my opinion only. DNA evidence is sometimes released before a trial. Another example is the recent trial of Jesse Matthews. Once his DNA was tested after his arrest in the Hannah Graham case, it was released to the public that his DNA matched that found under the fingernail of the woman he raped in Fairfax. Also it has been released that there is a DNA connection between Jesse Matthew and the murder of Morgan Harrington. I'm hopeful there are masses of other evidence to help convict wint. I don't know if he acted alone or with others: if there were others, it does seem like slow progress in their arrests. I've read here that wint's brother was in the amerifleet truck. But I've only read that here, never in a published news article. |
There had to be more..for one someone was in the bedroom with Philip as he was screaming..and someone was holding the cell phone making sure Savvas didn't tip the housekeeper off. Lets see what happens at the trial |

Hanover met with Wint’s mother, two sisters and brother for more than two hours — and they hired him http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/crime/unexpected-choice-in-hiring-attorney-for-suspect-in-quadruple-killings/2015/06/21/fcc22c70-169c-11e5-9518-f9e0a8959f32_story.html |
Hanover is shockingly incompetent. They passed up lawyers from the best public defenders office in the country for someone who has no idea what he is doing, because they're worried about deportation? |
It is very strange. He has only tried one homicide case so far? And that case isn't even completed yet!!
Is it possible the family feels wint is guilty and is encouraging him to plead guilty? Perhaps their only concern is to keep him out of the prison system in Guyana? (which I'm sure is brutal) is that something that could be arranged in case of a plea deal? |
It is possible that one person with a weapon could have pulled this off. The night time could have allowed for manueveing without being observed. No one else has been arrested. Only DNA from one person. After seeing video of man from NY about his attack without warning and a delayed one after an altercation allows for further thought on just one person whose MO is to wait on unsuspecting victim. |
Been reading some info on case on Websleuths and there is interesting content there. Introduced to that website on here. One thing that I read was the possibility that folks were reading JW's FB posts on the cars and on his job and that was theorized as to how others knew info that they would not normally know. Anyone else read other theories like this? |
I haven't specifically read those theories, but it makes sense to me that someone could have been "stalking" JW's social media accounts to glean information about the Savapoulos household. I question if wint is that sophisticated though. Also I question how much "helpful" information could have been collected. For example, did JW post anything about the security system, the household routines or the dog (s)? |
It does make sense. JW could just have been happy to report his new job activities and have inadvertently provided info and if he was followed inadvertently lead to family home. Perhaps it was JW was the one that was being set up. |
HEY CHECK THIS OUT Wonder if Police received JW cell phone records yet and wonder whos cell phones were found in the truck and auto with Wint
The former personal driver of Savvas Savopoulos, one of four victims in the recent D.C. Mansion Murders, told authorities he did not pick up a $40,000 ransom and drop it off at Savopoulos’ home, the scene of the murders. However, police are not buying that story, according to court documents related to the case, and they’re now seeking a warrant to search the driver’s phone records as a result. http://patch.com/maryland/annapolis/drivers-phone-records-sought-dc-mansion-murders-icymi-0/ |
This story is just a rehash of info that came out a month ago... |
But so poorly and randomly plagiarized that they got the basic facts wrong. |
