The Trump women and their fashion mishaps thread

Come on. It’s a good look for her, being outside in December at a holiday tree lighting and all.

We all know the answer. Chillin like a villain.

She is to coats and capes what Imelda Marcos was to shoes.

Correct! Here is another one from the tree-lighting.

Wait. You are criticizing her for wearing a coat outdoors? At a tree lighting event in DC? In December?
The coat is lovely. She is gorgeous.

When you start to nit pick crap like this.... you have become full on obsessed.

Obsessed with a woman with a coat obsession. Melania wears a different coat EVERY damn day. Her conspicuous consumption is tacky, very on brand though. Her coats speak volumes—more than she does that’s for sure. I really don’t care, do you?

And, Lord knows that if she was seen wearing the same coat in public twice, you would find something tacky to say about that too. That is evident from posts about Ivanka.

Hi, welcome to this thread. I guess you couldn't surmise this from the thread title, but we are here to mock the Trumps in all their resplendent hideousness, and it is more fun than I ever could have imagined.

So go crap on something else, Church Lady!

Stop reading this thread if it upsets you so. Come back when Melania actually starts rewearing outfits or when ivanka starts wearing an appropriate bra EVERY time she’s in public. Preferably before she takes someone ‘s eye out.

All the first ladies have had hits and misses. I like her coat - nothing amiss there imo.

I remember MO horrible black widow dress. And of course Hillary's obsession with her pants suit collection.

Still I would say the better dressed First ladies would be Jackie and Melania. Then again Jackie was also very attractive like Melania so there's that.

I still find the coat's plaid/block color visually uncomfortable.

Me too. It looks like something that would go on sale at Macy's because it looks weird.

I’m not a fan of this coat for the same reason. I did like the black and white checked one she wore the other day.

It is odd that she constantly wears such tight fitting coats where you can’t actually tell if she’s wearing clothes underneath. They fit her to a T but it’s just odd.

Donald in drag again. I swear her surgeon is also part of the #resistance. Thank you, surgeon, for doing your part.

Her face looks amazingly like her husband’s face in this picture.

Agree. Betwen the pattern and the lights behind her, the photo hurts my eyes.

Well, it may be a bad photo but her coat is just fine. I like it. Not so much EVERYTHING else in her world.

If Trump were a Democratic president, Melania would be gracing the covers of every major fashion magazine.
She is quite stunning.

omg and can you imagine the conniptions over a former nude "model" who got here on a fraudulent visa, if she were a democrat?

jesus, it would really be something. i guess at least her arms aren't bare.

And beneficiary of “chain migration,”

At least before she was flotus, she put her arms in sleeves:

Is this proof that she was trafficked here?

No? Why would it be?

It's a Trump photoshoot set up to make people think she was a "model."

Umm, because no woman would wear that of her own free will.

I bet Melania felt very glamorous in this getup.

Be best?

I agree with pp who said she looked like the Donald in drag in this photo.

Her body is amazing though. I’d kill for those legs.

So would I.

All true. This one is like a x-mas gift, surely the intent, but too much. The McQueen check coat is worlds better. This one the the prominent red is only used for the center body, and the sleeves repeat the busiest section of the plaid, including heavy white exactly at the elbows. It's to the point that articles refer to these as coat dresses, when clearly they're just heavy coats worn with no intention of ever being unbuttoned. She must be over 20K in coats in the last week alone.

Same. As well all know, she has quite the coat collection and I'd be delighted to own most of them. This one is a big miss for me.
