You guys are pathetic. There are tons of blacks coaches in FCPS who have had ZERO issues. Overton is the problem. He was also the problem in PWC. The common denominator isn’t race, it’s shitty integrity.

Darryl you look like a jackass posting on here. You are literally the only coach in this mess. So either you are the problem or all black coaches in the county are by your words “submissive”. I think it’s time to look in the mirror. You can argue that what occurred “should” be allowed, but you can’t argue you are being picked on because of race. You went too far and didn’t care to adjust to the new environment you were working in. If any coach would have tried what you did this year they would have been in trouble. I’d argue the only reason you still have a job is because you’ve screamed racism so loudly.

Darryl didn’t do anything, but win with the Hayfield students that came out to play football. He can’t control who moves into the school zone.

It was the other FCPS coaches who met with Reid and threatened to forfeit their first round playoff games after they showed her the text messages from Monty Fritts that forced her hand, (after the FCPS court let them play) Then the Fairfax Times dropped those messages a few days later. Dr. Thompson knew THE JIG WAS UP, and he withdrew Hayfield from the playoffs. The VHSL did its job, and enforced its rules.

Those coaches who were going to forfeit didn’t think they could win and really didn’t have much of a chance of beating Hayfield. One them has been exposed as a card carrying white supremacist.
