| I really liked him esp. for not wanting to take stimulus money but I think he should resign. While I could get over his having an affair because it's none of my business, but leaving the country to hook up with someone and not telling anyone where you are going is a dealbreaker. He obviously has psych problems and shouldn't be running the state. Hope the sex was worth it. |

Clearly his affair is the result of gays destroying the institution of marriage which should be between one man, one woman, and one Argentine mistress.

| There is nothing funny about this.poor taste to laugh because this guy has a wife and four kids and it's another example of a nutty politician. Seems like none of them are honest and I have to say that I just don't get the horniness--I am so tired after a day of life, I can't imagine going through the trouble even if I was so inclined (and I am not). |

| Ugh, this turns my stomach and I am a Republican. While I don't think party affiliation is a reliable indicator of who will cheat on their spouses, it is certainly worse for Republicans who have a record of spouting piety and denouncing debauchery. What a black eye for Republicans everywhere, and such an embarrassment. |

I agree it's not funny, but the situation is just so astonishing. Not astonishing that he would have an affair, but that he would leave the country without letting anyone know where he was going or how to reach him. So I'm not really laughing because I think it's great fun that this happened, I'm laughing just from being so flabbergasted that he thought he could do this and not get found out. The whole thing is so ridiculous. He was going to run for President in 2012! |
