As a media strategy, Youngkin’s seems to be better. Virginia has been a blue state, but it’s a moderate blue state full of people sick of political polarization. McAuliffe seems to offer little other than more of the “hate the enemy” rhetoric that so many in the state find unappealing. Did Terry forget he’s not running a campaign in NYC or San Francisco?

Did you forget that Terry was already the Governor and Virginia didn’t turn into New York or San Francisco?

It's politics are becoming as liberal as NY. The state, not the city.

Virginia did very well under McAuliffe. He is a moderate who helped our economy.

A moderate only in the context of a party that has moved way left.

No, an actual moderate who was well regarded by the business community when he was Governor. Someone with a teack record and experience.

Youngkin has no experience (how did electing the business man outsider work for the country??) and has toed the anti democratic Republican line.

McAuliffe has actual plans. Youngkin has nothing except keeping the Republican fear machine alive, stoking outrage at made up controversies and taking away the right to vote from people who might vote for Democrats.

McAuliffe’s plans are to tax, pander, tax, and pander some more. No thanks.

Youngkin was endorsed by Trump, that's all I need to know. Anyone who's endorsed by the bog of eternal racist stench must be pretty terrible.

Before the flurry of Democrats as governor, the state income tax rate was 3%.

Now with Democrats as governor, their education departments have been weakening the curriculum, with the latest guys seeking to eliminate tracking, putting all kids in the same level class, no honors classes.

We will be the next NYC and SF in a couple of years. I liked Terry years ago as a moderate but now he's moved onto the liberal train.

He's no longer moderate. Just look at his agenda.
