2021 VA Governors race

I could have supported Jennifer McClellan, who came across as a thoughtful, decent human being.

Terry McAuliffe is just a slimy opportunist. He hasn’t got any principles, just a calibrated set of talking points.

I’ll be voting for Glenn Youngkin and hoping that he’ll find a way to work with D and R state legislators.

He is not meeting with the VPBA because his record, as is true for most of the Democrats, is really not pro-law enforcement.
He would not be able to field questions dealing with supporting law enforcement. It is really that simple.

you're smarting from the restoration of rights of people who served time, aren't you?

I am more against his position at ending qualified immunity. It would result in frivolous lawsuits and cause police to not fully do their jobs in fear of being sued.

Ending qualified immunity is good. It would not prevent departments from continuing to indemnify officers in their official conduct.

Honestly, the number one policing reform in VA should be to stop local cops from policing interstate highways. VA is the only state where I know this happens. I admittedly have not made this drive in a while, but when I would regularly go to OBX it was always a joke to drive down 95 and see these local yokel speed traps.

Youngkin will win. Too many Dems in power. Time to balance things out.

From what I can tell, 99% of Youngkin’s advertising is about projecting the image of him as a nice, upbeat political novice and 99% of McAuliffe’s advertising is about saying negative things about Youngkin (and very little about McAuliffe himself).

As a media strategy, Youngkin’s seems to be better. Virginia has been a blue state, but it’s a moderate blue state full of people sick of political polarization. McAuliffe seems to offer little other than more of the “hate the enemy” rhetoric that so many in the state find unappealing. Did Terry forget he’s not running a campaign in NYC or San Francisco?

Did you forget that Terry was already the Governor and Virginia didn’t turn into New York or San Francisco?

100% wrong

Youngin wants to be KING we don't have KINGS in the US

A vote for him is a vote for Trump and scamming and grifting. It's also a vote for racism "YELLOW" who the H votes for this garbage. He has no policies none zero just like always. Republicans make a mess and Dems have to clean it up.

He is a anti semite, alt Right supporter and a NO. EX Republican voting Democratic

It's July 4th if you have a Trump flag you are a traitor.

Republicans are actively working to undermine our elections and voting rights. Electing one who has not disavowed these efforts and has instead accepted trump’s endorsement and proposed a “voting integrity” platform is irresponsible and dangerous.

Virginia did very well under McAuliffe. He is a moderate who helped our economy.

NO Youngkin will not work for anyone but himself.

He has no policies as usual

Do you see a health plan from Republcians to replace the ACA? Election lies, stealing from the American people. Just today another Republican in PA fraudulently voted.

Youngkin is a racist POS
