Seriously, both Harris and Walz are 100% progressives with no history of reaching out to the other side. California and Minnesota? That’s like the Republicans putting up an Alabama/Oklahoma ticket and wondering why they’re not catching on.

She should’ve put AOC or Bernie on the ticket. That’s the only winning ticket the Dems could offer millenials. Seriously.

Republicans are really in panic mode, LOL.

Where do you see this panic mode?

If anyone cared what the Jews think she would’ve picked Shapiro.

Honey, the only Jew who can win and should’ve won the Dem Party and possibly some of the Republican Party in 2016 is Bernie Sanders.

This was a savvy choice.

Exactly. I really wanted Kelly because he is a real man and example for my kids. But, apparently he was out of the running last week and I am sure there was a good reason.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Tim Walz served in the National Guard as an enlisted member for 24 years. He coaches football. If that's not "real man" enough for you, I don't know what you want.

I disagree completely. Walz is so similar to Shapiro on Israel, but he doesn't expose us to more ugly antisemitism. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is relieved about that. Shapiro can have his time when things are less charged politically. Ultimately this pick is not any better for antisemitic people than Shapiro.

This.

Sure, Walz is ok...but still too left-leaning for my taste.

But at the end of the day, issue positioning matters a lot. There is a reason Walz is less popular in a light-blue state than Josh Shapiro is in a purple state — indeed, when Walz shared a ballot in his own state with the moderate Amy Klobuchar, her victory margin (24 points) was more than double his (11.4 points). It’s not because Walz is less likable than Shapiro or Klobuchar. It’s because he’s less moderate.

Walz had a fairly conservative voting record in Congress, where he represented a red district. He used that record to win the governorship, and then moved sharply left.

Please, with your socialist regime. Are you saying you don't believe in social security? Because that's also the work of a "socialist regime."

What exactly of his positions do you dislike? His signing the lunch bill so all kids in schools get breakfast and lunch? So awful, feeding kids.

No, he is the guy who called in the National Guard to end the burning and riots sparked by literally a Boogaloo Bois and a racist right winger.

NP. Nobody believes this nonsense.

Biden beat Trump by being the most centrist candidate in the 2020 primaries. This ticket cannot win a national election. America is way more conservative than California and Minnesota.

simply terrifying

Looks like a weirdo tbh. NGL.

Looks like a guy who takes care of his neighbors

Didn’t help his neighbors much when Minneapolis was burning. And then Kamala bailed out the rioters.

Dude stood on the line next to all the other guardsmen. You're trying to spin that?

Loser

Fine, but JD Vance wanted to deliver eyeliner and lip-gloss to first responders, but liberals wouldn’t let him, saying it was “sissy.” How is that fair?

All over this thread. They were really caught flat-footed and don’t have their smears against Walz in order, none of them are landing.
