We don't know the full conversation. We only saw a few texts after. It's not compelling one way or another.

We do know that Republicans refuse to support common sense gun laws even as kids are shot down at school on a regular basis.

It's a reasonable conversation to question if there is anything at all that would move them to change their position.

Our federal workers: DOGE was needed. It is a shame it has had an effect on NOVA, but lots of those jobs were unneeded and taxpayers were paying for them.

Your response is exactly why Sears is going to lose. DOGE indiscriminately cut federal jobs. No rhyme or reason. She said the cuts were good. Northern VA's unemployment rate went up more than any other place in the region so saying the cuts were good is not going to land well. You think cutting research positions and expertise were not needed? We won't be able to compete against China.
